A few things to keep in mind when ordering:
- in general, ladies will wear a 1/2 size smaller in open toed shoes than they will in their running/tennis shoes.
- Men's and Women's dance shoes should be pretty snug
- Ladies, it is not recommended to purchase anything higher that a 2.5" heel until you get to intermediate class. Even if you can walk in a 4" stiletto with no problem, this is a different ballgame and we ask you not to wear 4" heels in any of our classes.
- Some brands give your the option of ordering an "outdoor sole" don't order that for your shoes that you intend to use in class or out social dancing.
- SHOE BRUSHES! When you purchase new shoes, make sure you buy a shoe brush as well. This cheap & simple tool will help with the longevity of your dance shoes and allow you to have the best surface possible to execute spins. If you have any questions about how to properly clean your shoes, just ask!
